AC SPD Surge Protective Device কী?

AC SPD (Surge Protective Device) হলো একটি electrical safety component, যা lightning-induced surges এবং switching transients-এর কারণে তৈরি হওয়া ক্ষতিকর transient overvoltage থেকে electrical equipment-কে সুরক্ষিত রাখতে সাহায্য করে। এটি সাধারণত AC Distribution Board (DB), inverter output panel এবং solar system-এর AC protection circuit-এ install করা হয়।

Solar Inverter Protection

Solar inverter-এর AC side-এ SPD ব্যবহার করলে sudden voltage surge-এর কারণে inverter এবং connected electrical equipment ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হওয়ার ঝুঁকি কমানো যায়। Surge দেখা দিলে SPD অতিরিক্ত surge current-কে উপযুক্ত earthing path-এ divert করে voltage level সীমিত করতে সাহায্য করে।
